CHARACTER INFORMATION
NAME: Mona Mayfair
CANON: Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches trilogy, also appears in two books of the Vampire Chronicles Blackwood Farm and Blood Canticle
AGE: It's Anne Rice; space is warped and time is bendable and we never indicate what year it actually is if we can help it, so Mona could actually have been anywhere in the 16-18 range by the canon point I'm pulling her from. For Eudio's purposes, though, we'll go with 18.
CANON POINT: Shortly after becoming a fulltime in-patient at Mayfair Medical (so midway through Blackwood Farm).
BACKGROUND:Lives of the Mayfair Witches
Blackwood Farm

INCENTIVE: Mona’s incentive is twofold; the first and most important to her is being cured of the illness she developed after giving birth to her Taltos daughter, which is apparently incurable even by the best-trained doctors at one of the best-funded and best-supplied hospitals in the country.
The other thing she would like is to be out from under her cousin Rowan’s thumb and free to go search for the aforementioned daughter as she sees fit. (This is the lesser one because, being a legal adult and designee of the legacy, she’ll have the funds and freedom to do that herself if she can just get healthy again.)
FIT: One of Mona’s most *ahem* prominent character traits is how much she enjoys sex, and she has a lot of it, even if we’re only shown a fraction on screen. So she’d definitely have no issue with that aspect of life in Eudio - or even with just holding hands and cuddling, she’s a pretty friendly girl. Most of her sexual encounters as well as her single romantic relationship to date have been with men, but it’s implied that she wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to trying it on with the ladies.
And though it’s heavily implied that some of the men she slept with felt hella guilty about it afterward, mostly because jailbait, we’re never given the slightest hint that she tricked or coerced anyone into it. She wanted some, so she went out and got it; as far as she’s concerned, that’s all there was to it.
Re: consent, specifically. Most of her friction with Rowan (in Blackwood Farm especially) comes from the fact that she, as far as Mona's concerned, handed her daughter Morrigan off to some other Taltos without Mona’s consent, and then neither Rowan nor her husband Michael could or would tell Mona where this Taltos had gone. So safe to say Mona’s a pretty big fan of consent, both in general and in terms of sex, and would not want to violate anyone else’s in any way.

ANYTHING ELSE? One, potential playercest: the crossover between series is fairly minor; the only vampires Mona actually meets on-page are Lestat and Quinn Blackwood, and she and Quinn are said to have left New Orleans to try and meet Maharet at the end of Blood Canticle. She’s never interacted with Armand in any way, and has no reason to.
And two, powers: witches in Mona’s home ‘verse don’t have magic, per se, rather some combination of telepathy, telekinesis, and the ability to see/communicate with/command spirits. Mona mostly displays the former; in Lasher it’s mentioned that the Mayfairs of New Orleans answer each other’s thoughts as easily as verbal statements/questions. She also has had visions and smelled smells no one else could.
The one thing she seems able to do that would have to be on lockdown for her stay in Eudio is what she refers to as her “witch power” which seems to be a compulsion or hypnotic suggestion.
